A quick overview of how we work, what to expect, and how we usually start new engagements. If you still have questions, you can always contact us.
These are the questions that usually come up in early conversations. They're here so you can get a sense of fit before we even speak.
How do projects usually start?
Most engagements begin with a short call to understand your goals, constraints, and timelines. From there we suggest a starting scopeoften a focused pilot or discovery phaseso you can see how we work before committing to a larger roadmap.
What types of businesses do you work with?
We typically work with small to mid-size teams that need a reliable technical partnerfrom startups to established companies modernising their stack. The common thread is clear business goals and a need for practical, maintainable solutions.
Do you work with one-off projects or only retainers?
Both. Many clients start with a specific projectfor example, a new site, automation, or platform feature. If it makes sense, we then continue on a retainer for support, improvements, and new work.
Can you work with our existing design or dev team?
Yes. We often collaborate with in-house teams or other partners. We can plug into your existing process, help with architecture and implementation, or take on specific parts of the stack so your team can stay focused.
How do you price your work?
Pricing depends on scope and engagement model. We usually work on project-based engagements with a clear set of deliverables, or on retainers for ongoing support and improvements. After an initial conversation we'll share a simple proposal with options.
What does a typical timeline look like?
Smaller projects and pilots can often be delivered in 36 weeks. Larger builds and multi-phase roadmaps can run over several months. We'll outline milestones and timelines clearly before we start.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Many clients keep us on as long-term partners for monitoring, updates, new features, and technical guidance. We can structure this as a support retainer or a block of hours per month.
Where is your team based and how do you communicate?
We work remotely and adapt to your preferred toolstypically a mix of email, Slack or Teams, and scheduled calls. For active projects we maintain clear, regular updates so you always know what is happening next.
Share a bit about your project or challenges and we'll respond with next stepsno pressure, no jargon.
